One Year
Above: Charlotte, December 2006. Below: Charlotte, December 2007One year ago I typed up my first official entry for this blog. Now, a year later, I've written/posted nearly 120 entries, including photos and videos, and of course many, many gripes about sleeping issues. Which, incidentally, seem to be resolved. I hesitate to say anything, but for almost two weeks now Charlotte has slept through the night. That's more nights in a row of sleeping through than we previously had in total. And that is all the Christmas I require!
For Tig Web's one-year anniversary, I'd like to do a roll-call. Who's reading? How often do you check in? What would you like to see more of on this blog? Leave a comment and let me know. Thanks!

I'm reading. Daily. Sometimes hourly, when I can. Let's be honest, this is my home page and I encourage everyone to visit it. I'm sure I'm getting on everyone's nerves, but when has that ever stopped me?
I check in two or three times a week, usually--when I'm procrastinating, a bit more ;)
I like the second snap of Charlotte, BTW. Sort of a steely-eyed adventurer pose.
I check it at least once a year.

Another Jana (in Michigan) checking in - I found you when Googling my own name! C is precious, she's about the age of my younger son so it's fun to compare....
Hey Jana....it's Jackie at Papa D's office. I so enjoy reading about your adventures and your Dad and I enjoy laughs and stories together. After raising 3 myself, my heart goes out to you with each milestone, sleepless night and blessings you receive. There's no manual to raising kids but your stories are fun to read! I also read about your attempt to run and laughed as I can see myself doing the same thing. Thanks for sharing with us all!
I've been reading since around Halloween, re: The Velvet Touch. Congrats on a year of blogging, and the sleeping through the night. It's a relief, isn't it?
Hi Jana: I check your blog about every two weeks (or as often as I remember.) I love reading about Charlotte and her adventures (which, of course, are also your adventures). I am thrilled she's continuing to sleep through at night - uninterrupted sleep is such a gift. (And I just had to check the spelling of uninterrupted because I'm as obsessive about misspelled words as your Dad!) Keep up the good work on the blog.....
Feed readers: I use http://reader.google.com. There are more....
